Join in with The Bear Family as Jane, Billy and John learn about Drugs and Suicide. The Bear family were walking along a path. Ferns and moss covered trees are along the way. “Why do people take drugs?” John asked. Nanna said: “Ceaselessly because someone offered them some at a party. They were probably told: ‘It’s OK. It won’t hurt you. Have a go.’ And the person believes them. Mumma said: “If anyone says this to you what’s going to you say?” Jane said: “I do not have to do anything I do not want to!” John asked: “What does the drug do?” Nanna discusses the effects drugs can have on a person and tells them about a young girl they were helping. She was seeing clothing jumping off racks and dancing around her. “Why was she seeing that?” Asked Billy. Nanna said: “She was having a delayed reaction to a drug that she had been taking. It Ceaselessly takes a long time to get out of their system.” Grandad said: “The whole family is affected.” He continues: “Drugs are not good for anyone.” “Don’t put your life at risk. It is not worth it!” Later that night Nanna Bear takes them on a Meditation to help them relax. The next day to come they are visiting a Look Out, where they can see lots of interesting rock formations along the Coast line. As John walks down the stone steps he asks Nanna: “What do drugs do?” Nanna tell him: “Look around you. The steps and the grasses are coloured in natural shades. Certain types of drugs distort the colours and the cliffs could look bright green and the steps bright pink and purple and the grasses bright red. Yes, very pretty but not real.” Back at the apartment Billy is lying down on the rug and he asks Mumma: “How do drugs take over?” Mumma explains: We have a Body, Mind and Spirit. Our Mind is our Control Center. We decide what to do and what not to do. But when people take drugs this puts their mind on holiday. They are busy seeing rainbows and having out of body experiences. This leaves the mind free and any wandering spirit looking for a home, can go in and take over the body.” Jane asked: “An ‘earthbound spirit’? “ Mumma said: “Yes, keep in mind that the little boy at school who thought he was a girl. We discussed that perhaps he had a little sister who had been miscarried or still born or even aborted. We discussed how sometimes these spirits become stuck here. These babies are not given a funeral service. The body had died but the spirit did not receive any prayer. Because people are not practiced in praying this present day she had no one to pray for her and remained attached to her family and siblings. These type of spirits can grow up and keep wandering and sometimes they aren’t very nice. So we would not want one of those entering our bodies would we.” “Can the person on drugs be helped?” Asked Billy and John. Nanna had been sitting with them and said: “Yes.” Nanna gives them a copy of the Prayer ending with: “We thank you angels for helping.” “Will the prayer work?” Asked Jane. Mumma answered. “It doesn’t hurt anybody to pray the prayer. It might be just what that spirit needs. We will try it, see what happens.” They walk to see a waterfall. Jane asked: “Why do people commit suicide?” They discuss the reasons. Nanna said: “I have a Meditation written here for suicide people.” The next day to come they travel and arrive at their new apartment. They go for a walk until it’s time to check in. Nanna takes them on another Meditation before bedtime: “Peace surrounds us as we wander through nature.”
