When you hear the word hunters, what do you recall to mind? Most of the people will recall to mind your average, run-of-the-mill hunters. You know, the ones who hunt deer and stuff? Well, not my circle of relatives. We hunt supernatural creatures. That’s right, mermaids, werewolves, vampires, you name it, we kill it. But, we only kill the ones that kill people. “Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent se protéger.” Translation: “We give protection to those who cannot give protection to themselves.” It’s the circle of relatives motto. Or, so I thought. Turns out, my ancestors, including my parents, are supernatural serial killers. Yup, the French phrase you just read? Not even the circle of relatives motto. It appears, it’s “We hunt those who hunt us.” Translation: We hunt and kill innocent supernaturals, including the defenseless ones. And get this: my parents want me to sign up for the “circle of relatives business.” Not gonna happen. I need a plan to get out of this. Fast. How to do it? Easy. Date a supernatural creature. That’s when Darcy comes into the picture. Darcy is a demon trying to get out of his father’s wishes. To ensure that him to try this, he has to date a hunter. When our two paths cross, we both agree to lend a hand every other. But there’s more to it than I had planned…
