Description

Put forth by the elders and brethren of many congregations of Christians (baptized upon profession in their faith) in London and the rustic.
With the center man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, Rom.10:10.

This Confession was once first printed in London for Benjamin Harris, to be sold at his shop on the Stationers Arms in Sweetings Rents, in Cornhill, close to the Royal Exchange, 1677.

Only minor alterations to spelling, punctuation and proof texts have been made by the editors of this Pocket Puritan gift edition.

This little volume isn’t issued as an authoritative rule, or code of religion, whereby you might be to be fettered, but as an assistance to you in controversy, a confirmation in faith, and a method of edification in righteousness.’ C. H. SPURGEON
